12. A Meditation: Cultivate Body Love

If you can, find a quiet spot. Self-acceptance is cultivated through body love. You experience feelings of safety and become "at home" within your body the more you disempower the inner critic and your ego by practicing self-compassion. The source of Unconditional love is always available to you. You are significant! 

Consider & Reflect

  1. What does your body need? Start to become more aware of the sensations within your body. Tune in to what your body is saying. Respond to what it needs.

  2. Are you getting an adequate amount of sleep/rest for your body? Not everyone needs the same amount of sleep. During some seasons we need more times of rest than at other times! 

  • Start by changing one thing. Do you need to thought substitute what the inner (or outer) critic is saying? Put yourself to bed earlier? Move your body more?

  • Any start is good. Small incremental changes that you continue to implement will produce long-lasting change. I promise!
